Hi. I'm Dave Silva. D5design is my one-person studio, where I work as a designer, illustrator, and all-around visual problem solver. As the founder and sole force behind it, I bring both big-picture thinking and hands-on execution to every project, ensuring a personal, intentional touch from start to finish.

After earning my degree in Advertising Design from ArtCenter College of Design, I began my career working with major advertising agencies in both full-time and freelance roles. I’ve collaborated with a wide range of clients, from scrappy startups to established global brands, across the U.S. and internationally, building a strong foundation in art direction, design, and the nuances of office and client dynamics.

I actively collaborate with small studios and in-house teams, valuing the shared ideas and perspectives that strengthen the work. Together, we create solutions that blend boldness with clarity and a smidgen of humor, always aiming to produce something unique, memorable, and built to last.
