I especially enjoyed working on his most popular and award-winning film, "Birth of the Endless Summer-Discovery of Cape St. Francis". The film is a documentary following 90-year-old surf pioneer Dick Metz as he retraces his 1958-1961 global vagabond journey detailing how Metz discovered the "perfect wave" at Cape St. Francis, South Africa. It reveals the untold story that inspired his friend, filmmaker Bruce Brown, to create the iconic 1966 film, "The Endless Summer".
