Created the cast and animated shorts for children’s television program “The Crayon Box” in 1996.

The Crayon Box is an American live-action/animated children's television series that was aired in syndication from 1997 to 1998, based on the poem “The Crayon Box That Talked” by Shane DeRolf before being published as a standalone book in 1997. Each show being 15 minutes long. The show's tagline was "A Good Show Helping to Build Great Kids". I created the many characters beside the crayon characters, that were both live-action puppets, and animated.

The show was about a group of toys that come to life when the toy store is closed for the night. The characters learn life lessons through stories and songs. The characters are “The Crayons” who introduce the episode's story, “Bubby” a brown sensible and level-headed toy bear. “Dotty” a clever and excitable toy cat with ‘connect-the-dots’ dots as her body. “Lump”, a purple, quite slow-witted but friendly plush bulldog. “Jack”, a cheeky Jack-in-the-Box. “Piggy Banks”, a very pink and sweet piggy bank. “The Baby”, a bonnet-clad baby who is wise beyond her years. “The Sheriff and his horse Hugo”, a Wild-West duo that help one another and “The Cutout Sisters”(April, May and June -May named after my mom), some paper-chain dolls who love to sing.

The series was produced by puppet fabricators, Chiodo Bros. Productions(Killer Clowns from Outer Space movie!), Sunbow Entertainment, Random House and PolyGram Television and its double-program was produced by Sachs Family Entertainment.
